Please share your thoughts about the future of literature. When you start writing? Hello Poliz Literary Magazine! So nice to honour to be interviewed by you, a well-known literary source that unite people around the world. In the future I will print a bilingual poetry collection. It could be in German – Vietnamese or English – Vietnamese. I came to poetry very late compared to my friends. That predestined relationship started when I bravely sent 4 lines to encourage other members in a 4-sentence poetry contest on a famous online forum.
The Good and the Bad. Who is winning in nowadays? Poetry today is recognized as a healing therapy. And readers are also less strict, they have a better overview of the original source of the technique in composition. Poetry is varied in syntax as well as meaning and lyrics are also refined more delicately. For example, it is contemporary free verse. For me, there is no winner or loser, because we have to conquer ourselves, learn to improve ourselves to compose better than yesterday.
How many books have you written? And where can we find your books? I have not yet published a single book of poetry, because I feel that I still have to practice more and more. But my poetry has been selected to be printed in the same book collection with many famous authors and poets in Vietnam, all of which I have 6 titles published with others. For readers to access my own poetic works, I still maintain posting new works to share on the online literary forum every month. And I often communicate with many poets daily, reading their poetry and enjoy it. On the other hand, they also read my literary works and comment for each other.
The book. E book or Hardcover book. What will be the future? With the passage of time, some young readers now choose e-books for easy updating, because they are more convenient and faster. But a lot of people still prefer to choose printed books, myself included, for me printed books are like jewelry for my soul.
A wish for 2023. At the intersection between the old and the new year, I think a lot about Peace and War. I pray for this world to be at peace. Wishing all people around the world to have all the best!
A phrase from my poem. The fields are barren with brown grass/ The forest is ragged with bleeding acer rubrum leaves/ The old oak is dead silently/ The east wind carries unjust souls/ Crying season. Snowing tears of white sky/ The darkness along with deep abyss/ The will of the nation, despite hunger and cold/ Freedom is the light of salvation/ Oh dear God! Such cruel war/ Falling bombs, bullets broke the mother’s heart/ Even though at the two battle lines are at war/ No energy but burning the willpower/ Children’s eyes are thirsty for mother’s milk/ Trembling humanity/ Echoing all over the world.
