The flowers did not open beautifully because of this extraordinary heat. Arms factories and scientific plants were bombed and their dust thinned the atmosphere. Conflicts continued unabated. Even civilians were killed, but people in otherwise peaceful areas whistled nouveau riche and went about their business that night as if nothing had happened that day.
The righteous no longer wrote poetry. The pages of history were no longer to be written or read. Only the wicked and those who said no to them struggled, but they could not deny that humanity was headed for destruction. The unseen doom was evident in the wilting of the flowers, and yet people could only struggle for their personal interests today.
When someone said the sky was falling, there was nothing we could do to stop it. People were too busy enjoying their personal pleasures. The human race was on the verge of destruction, yet people continued to seek immediate gains. Today, people are still kicking other people’s feet in the air. Only blatant malice was on their minds.
They sought help from cults that claimed to bring them peace of mind and happiness. The cult’s owner was still trying to make money today. Horses, dogs, and cats had been bred and were no longer capable of prophecy. History closed abruptly without turning another page.
People rushed to the gate to survive, but there was no time left for those outside or inside. The gate itself was swept away by the tsunami, and no one survived. With the death of humanity, the pages of history were closed, never to be opened again.
