The members of the International Academy of Ethics adopted the following resolution today at an online meeting held at 11.30 pm on 12th October 2023.
THE RESOLUTION
We, the Members of International Academy of Ethics are deeply grieved by the suffering meted out to the helpless civilians, women and children caused by the wars occurring in Ukraine and Russia and Israel and Hamas
We request UN to take up this humanitarian cause, address the issue with urgency, regardless of the just or unjust interests that propel war.
There is no victory in war save the prolonged precipitation of hurt and hatred.
We believe, UN as strong International Body can help redeem the world from this escalating crisis.
We the Members of International Academy of Ethics pass this resolution unanimously.
