Ο εικαστικός Reiner Langer από τη Γερμανία έρχεται στη Θεσσαλονίκη να εκθέσει στη Govedarou Art Gallery, Γ. Παπανδρέου 5 (πρώην Ανθεων, στάση Γεωργίου) τα έργα του.
Ο τίτλος της δεύτερης ατομικής του έκθεσης στη γκαλερί είναι “For Freedom”.
Τα εγκαίνια θα γίνουν την Πέμπτη 19 Μαρτίου, στις 19:30 στο χώρο της γκαλερί.
Η έκθεση θα διαρκέσει έως τις 4 Απριλίου. Όλα τα έργα έχουν γίνει με τη δική του πρωτότυπη μικτή τεχνική που χρησιμοποιεί, την οποία πολλοί θα έχουν την ευκαιρία να μάθουν μέσα από τα δίωρα εργαστήρια που θα γίνουν στις 24 Μαρτίου και στις 26 Μαρτίου στην γκαλερί (πληροφορίες στο mailto: [email protected]).
Μέσα στα πλαίσια της ατομικής του έκθεσης θα παρουσιαστεί παράλληλα και ένα μέρος από το πρότζεκτ Mail Art Project: ”Against War” by Reiner Langer το οποίο ο ίδιος έχει ξεκινήσει εδώ και περίπου 25 χρόνια με συμμετοχές εικαστικών από όλο τον κόσμο που θέλουν να εκφράσουν μέσα από τα έργα τους την εναντίωση και δυσαρέσκειά τους για τον πόλεμο. Στη τελευταία μεγάλη έκθεση που έγινε συμμετείχαν 400 εικαστικοί με 900 έργα από όλο τον κόσμο.

What is painting for you? a form of personal expression? A need for creation, communication, or something else? Painting for me is LIFE, EMOTION, with every Work i give the Audience a small part from my Soul from my Emotions a Little bit Heart A Message many Questions NO Answers People can see my Fairy Tales and make their own or a NEW for this Life !!!
How would you characterize yourself as an artist? My Life is inside me, Friendship, Love, my Engine I Love TRUE People!! We have in our small Life so many Bad People, but they Play here Game. This make me Sad. But my Angels, Inside and Outside. Trust me and make ALL what I am!!! I don’t Work with Brain, yes in Beginning I have an Idea, but Then Comes Emotions my Feeling and the Angels Inside Show me my Way on Paper. My Wish is Love and FREEDOM for all Life on our Earth. But in Time, when I watch TV or Read a Newspaper. I become very Sad. What does the EU with Greece ?! Greece stays Alone, many Children in Syria stay alone and I have Fear for what is Coming!
What is the source of your inspiration? Two Words = MY LIFE
With which personality of Art world would you like to come into a dialogue and on what subject? Albrecht Dürer, Michelangelo and Max Ernst. The Feelings in here Work.
Would you consider to express yourself with any other form of art besides painting? YES , Big Fire Installations, Performances, DADA Works and Crazy FLUXUS Works. AND my Mail Art Projects “AGAINST WAR”
If you chose a different era to live and create what would it be and how do you think you would express yourself artistically? I think, I would stay in the Right Time, where I can do what I want. I had very good Father and Mother in my past. They did all for me. Let me think. Made me what I am.
What is the relation of the creator to his work? My Heart and my Soul.
What are your future plans? Many, many NEW WORKS. Work Together with many Artists around the World and NEW Mail Art Projects, Installations and Performances, all this for FREEDOM!
Are you working on any project in this period? I’m very Happy, that I stayed my whole Life in a NO WAR Area. My Father and my Grandfather told me, when I was Young, so many horror stories about the German Wars. Then I saw Korea, Pol Pot, Vietnam and inside me Came the Wish to do what you can against this. And so I started, when I was 30 my first Mail Art Project “AGAINST WAR”. First I didn’t found so many Artist Friends for this. But every 3 Years I make a new Open Call for a New “AGAINST WAR” Project and the I make Exhibitions around the World. My last Project “AGAINST WAR” participated WORLDWIDE more the 400 Artists with more than 900 Works. And I`m very Proud that The Name Reiner Langer stays Worldwide for, Art and Mail Art, under the Name “AGAINST WAR” Project by Reiner Langer.
