Let’s down our weapons
let’s open our arms
let’s rid ourselves of vanity
and embrace peace through
love and humanity
Wars make peoples lost and sad
We should fight for peace instead
Love not war, we should spread
Yet we know we’ve been
made for the glory of peace
For the peace is an emptiness
It must have its fill
Nothing could fill it
as loving each other
Nothing could fill it as
building the world together
Nothing could fill it
as sowing the grains of love
in each soul
and making the peace
Our awaited fruit
Our common goal..

Biography: Life and poetry of the internationally renowned Algerian poetess Nassira Nezzar.
Internationally renowned poetess and writer Nassira Nezzar was born on March 11th 1982 in Guelma, Algeria. She graduated from Guelma University. She also holds a Diploma in Tourism from CNEPD Annaba as a superior technician in tourism/Tourist guide.
Nassira Nezzar is a member in Pentasi B World Friendship Poetry.
She has been teaching English in the faculty of sciences and technology at Guelma University for eight years. Prior to that, she was an English language teacher at the National Institute for Vocational Training – Guelma.
Nassira has published a romantic novel called “Familiar Strangers”. It is a joint venture with the American author Rob McBride.
Her poems have been included in the acclaimed anthologies of different countries of the world : Love is like air-USA-, The Other Side Of The Screen-Poland-, Women Poets -within and beyond shore Vol 1-2 &3-India-, Whispers of Soflay, Verses on Racism, Resistance and Refugee Crisis –India-, Metafora Współczesności –Poland- participation in an international anthology against Racism by OPA, Contemporary World Poetry, Nuestros Momentos, Love Postcards, Thousand poems to the peace and happiness of humanity, Qué pasa contigo Venzuela? –Chile-…Poem for Amaravati Poetic Prism 2019, Peace in the hands of love 2020, Inner Child Press Anthologies… Sophy Chen Anthology, and participations in other international anthologie. Her poems have been translated into many languages of the world. Of these, Spanish, Hindi, Chinese, French, Polish, Albanian, Italian and Arabic are the most notable.
Nassira Nezzar was awarded in the Kateb Yassin International Forum for her literary works. She received the award on Algerian Artists Day. She has won the Alfonso G Newcomer Award-2017 from the United States. Besides she also received the World’s Literary Pearl Award in the Gold category for her excellence and wisdom of the Academy Literature of Motivational Strips.
Nassira Nezzar is also a famous reciter.
She has many poetic collaborations with the American author, Rock singer, John E WordSlinger in his YouTube channel: PoetryETrain. Her poems were Rendered in Radio of Bulgaria and Mexico. She recently participated in The StoryFest 2023 Russia, Greece_Mexico, and also in World Day C. P Cavafy.
Nassira Nezzar has many participations in international Literary magazines : Atunis Poetry, Azahar, Grihaswamini, WordSmith Editorial our poetry archive, also appeared in national and international newspapers.
Nassira Nezzar got an honorary degree of Doctor of humanity from Prixton Church and University.USA. She also has been honored as from the International Literary Forum For Peace and Human Rights, as an International ambassador Of Peace. As she got recently a membership card as an Online gallery member (Artist) from Hungary.
She could recite poems in different languages: Arabic, English, French, Spanish, Italian,Urdu, Turkish . That’s why she made many poetic collaborations with poets from different countries.
