Ban floats in the water by Manik Chakraborty

Motherland Bangladesh floats in the water, Rakshasi is the water monster
Laughs out loud.
People are floating,
animals are floating
floating house.
Most destitute orphans
Followed the rules.
A hungry stomach
The cry of a dumb child,
Life is floating in water
No cooking in the house.
Hundreds are dying and fighting Tears are flowing,
A body worn out by hunger Shaking.
There were cows full of cows rice balls, Fakir lost everything today
Get relief.
Echoes of moaning In the heart of Bangladesh,
People floating in water
Dying slowly.

Manik Chakraborty. 20/8/2024

Come closer to the sky

Clouds say fly,
How much wicked gold in the air
Flying colorful kites.
Green says, far away in the mountains go with me
Wildflower pollen renu
I will put it on my hand.
Where are you going to the sea?
sit beside me
Wake up in Falgudhara
Joyfully.
The soil calls for mother’s love to get a seat of dust,
I will take care of you,
I will give you food.
Surya says wake up baby remove all black
I am full of your eyes
I will turn on the light
