An Old Black Beggar – Kalipada Ghosh
I know an old, lean and thin , black beggar
Who comes once a week for begging
He is too weak to walk
But he is predestined for begging.
God has allotted such living.
Children always laugh at him
Wearing a shabby old torn patched Pant and shirt
with a stick in his hand.
Helpless and distressed
Always smiling without caring his misfortune.
He belongs to the native SABAR community of primitive tribes
They are the devotees of Nature
A bond of relationship with Nature.
Simple and honest
Without any cravings,
Envy , malice and greed .
Simplicity is in their blood.
They worship the natural phenomenon and living in huts with their shabby children.
I pity on him and compassion on the community.
So simple and unsophisticated and God-fearing.
No enlightenment and no hopes and aspirations
and no touch of civilization.
They are the sons and daughters of the soil.
I love the fellow
Oh God ! Pour mercy and love on them.

Ah, the warm Sunshine
In winter morning!
How pleasant !
How soothing !
Serenity and tranquility.
Perhaps an angel or divine entity descending
With mercy , forgiveness and compassion.
Inexhaustible love
Celestial love and beauty
Cosmic overflowing of love and light.
Man and woman
With amorous love
Soul to soul
Heart to heart
Separation but harmonious union.
Stars pouring blessings.
Galaxies…
Stars bathing
I gaze and gaze
Wondering
Mysterious
Overpowering.
Cosmic wonderment
Unimaginable
Hues and colors
Vibrations and sounds
Echoing incessant OM…
Magestic creations
Light and darkness…
Enlightenment and love
Harmony and only harmony.
Miracle and mystery…
A ball of LIGHT descending
Oh God, mercy on me and apologizing…

Sonorous and echoing
Coming from the core.
Harmony and only harmony
The vast void
Nothing but everything.
A perfection
A harmony
Love and truth
A divine inspiration
Magical symphony of heart
Galaxy and stars
Divine love of man and woman
Timeless love
Aroma , love and symphony of heart.
