IRON CURTAIN by Jernail Singh Anand

Face is a great veil,
Like the iron curtain,
No one can look through,
Nor peep in.

Mind is a pressure cooker under which
The fires of passion rage
It fumes in anger
And frets in  impatient craze

We can see the hot porridge
Drip from its sides
But no one knows
What the whistles cook insides

Shallow waves often spill out
The beans,
Not the deep waters
Which absorb the confessions of passion

Thank gods who gave me
A murky face
Even spring fails
To light up its dark grace

A thousand thoughts occur
As many are of evil content
A smile smokescreens
The vilest intent.

I carry the worst of minds
And vilest of desires
And this iron curtain distracts
The heat of the raging fires.

ETERNALLY POSTPONED by Jernail Singh Anand

Those who meet rarely
Are often found to be fond of each other
And they look keenly forward
To enjoy the brief hours of union.

It is entirely a misplaced idea
To leave this world,  in order to meet Him,
Distance,  lest we should forget,
Is the greatest promoter of love.

Marriage was conceived in folly.
Putting two people together
For procreation is fine
But for recreation? dangerous.

Marriage with God too can be disastrous
After a year or too,
Man may once again desire separation
And God too may feel fed up .

The way things are, stand eternally justified
Best to stay in a state of
Suspended joy,
Waiting for an orgasm eternally postponed.
