Flowers And Rain

Fresh new scents permeate
Lungs breathing it all in
Openly embracing all the newness
Winter’s bleakness fades as
Everything starts to regrow with zest
Rebirth is heavy in the air
Signs of new prosperities
An abundance of blooms all around
Nights drawing in later as
Days become lighter for longer
Rainbows appearing frequently
As rain falls in springtime showers
Invigorating to see
Nature, the natural endorphin of life.

Ameliorating

Laying here
Lost in nature
In scents and sounds divine
Resting awhile
Absorbing the energy in
Feeling it uplift and heal
Restore and renew
In ways only mother nature can do
