Whispers from the Sky

In the stillness of the night,
A symphony begins to play,
Soft whispers echo through the air,
As raindrops dance and sway.

The sky weeps tears of sorrow,
For the loss of innocent souls,
Orphaned by cruel fate’s hand,
Their spirits forever take hold.

The rain is a blessing to some,
A soothing balm for troubled souls,
A symphony of nature’s song,
That calms the heart and makes us whole.

But for others, the rain brings pain,
A burden too heavy to bear,
The drops of rain feel their sorrow,
As they struggle to share.

In the rain, we find solace,
A refuge from life’s storms,
A place where we can be still,
And hear the whispers that transform.

For the rain is not just a shower,
But a symphony of life,
A melody that speaks to the soul,
And helps us to thrive.

So let us listen to the rain,
And hear the whispers that it brings,
For in its gentle embrace,
We find the strength to sing.

Orphan Boy

Little Orphan Boy,
Struggling day by day,
While others play and laugh,
I work to make my way.

They sip on coffee bright,
But I drink sorrow deep,
While they enjoy their toys,
I labor with my keep.

Where’s justice, where’s humanity,
As wealth is heaped on high,
While I toil and sweat and bleed,
Beneath the scorching sky?

Why don’t the rich understand,
The plight of those like me,
Who live in poverty and strife,
And long for liberty?

Let’s lift each other up,
And share the wealth we’ve got,
For in our hearts we know,
That love and justice rot.
