And Every Day is a holiday for everyone today,

And like a flying horseman on a horse

Поэты Греции, великий древний мир,
Он славится и словом, и делами,
И в каждом слове эту славу воскресил,
Поэт, который и поныне с нами.
Стихи великого и славного Кавафи
Летят по свету, радуя планету,
Среди известных славных биографий
Мир помнит, чтит и знает имя это.
И День Кавафи нынче всем на праздник,
Воспето будет имя то отныне,
И словно на коне летящий всадник
