Nageh Mohamed Taha: “Iftar’s Bullets” poem for Palestine

Nageh Mohamed Ibrahim Mohamed Taha, an Egyptian born in 1987, January, in Baghdad city, Iraq. He is a professor of Chinese Language and Literature at Al-Azhar University in Cairo, Egypt. He is currently residing in Shanghai, holds a Master’s degree in Comparative Literature from Fudan University in Shanghai. Since 2012, he has been pursuing studies in Chinese language and culture, comparative literature, and Arabic-Chinese translation at various Chinese universities, including South-Central University for Nationalities, the Chinese Department at Fudan University, and the Arabic Department at Shanghai International Studies University.
Nageh has previously worked as a part-time foreign expert at the Arabic Department of Shanghai International Studies University and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Comparative Literature and Translation at the same university.
Nageh has received recognition for his achievements, including the “2022 Overseas Advanced Chinese Translation Talent Project – Arabic Translation Workshop” Outstanding Certificate and the “2022 Overseas Chinese Teacher Chinese Classics Recitation and Writing Seminar.”
Nageh is actively engaged in creating poetry in both Arabic and Chinese. He is involved in bilingual research, teaching, and translation work between Chinese and Arabic languages. His Chinese poems have been published in various literary magazines, including Poetry Monthly, Anhui Poetry, Taiwan`s Life Style and Writers Literature Society, etc.
