Bio: Luisa Ruiz Bueno (Luisa R. Bueno), was born in Zaragoza (Spain), where she graduated in Teaching at the University School. Winner of several short story competitions, in the end she has opted for the novel. A lover of animals, her land and nature, she declares herself to be in love with life and the little things.

When did you start writing? I started writing as soon as I got to know letters, at a very young age. First I adapted the stories I didn’t like and gave them a new ending; then, at the age of fourteen, more or less, I wrote a novel imitating Little Women with the pupils in my class as the main characters; as a teenager I started writing poetry and, once I became an adult, I had a break of many years due to my dedication to motherhood and lack of self-confidence. I returned to writing when my time allowed it and I have currently published three novels and a children’s story.
The Good and Bad of writing: Who is winning nowadays? There is nothing bad about writing, it’s all good. It serves as a catharsis, self-recognition and a release from a need to tell something. What’s bad is the unfulfilled ambitions or the internal struggles with oneself when it comes to deciding to make what one has written public. But that’s the periphery of writing, not the essence.
How many books have you written and where can we find your books? I’ve published three novels, I’m currently working on my fourth; a children’s story and I have another one written that will one day see the light of day. The book, how do you prefer it, electronic or hardcover, which will be the future? I like to touch the paper, to smell it, to point out what I liked the most. But I understand that the electronic book has more future because it is more comfortable and cheaper.
A wish for 2024. My wish is not to lose the illusion or the desire to tell stories, to keep improving and that my readers, when they close the book, are happy with what they have read.

Luisa Ruiz Bueno (Luisa R. Bueno), nació en Zaragoza (España), ahí se graduó en Magisterio en la Escuela Universitaria. Ganadora de varios concursos de relatos, al final se ha decantado por la novela. Amante de los animales, de su tierra y de la naturaleza, se declara una enamorada de la vida y de las pequeñas cosas. ¿Cuándo empiezas a escribir? Empecé a escribir en cuanto conocí las letras, desde muy pequeña. Primero adaptaba los cuentos que no me gustaban y les daba un nuevo final; después, a los catorce años, más o menos, escribí una novela imitando a Mujercitas con los alumnos de mi clase como protagonistas; en la adolescencia empecé con la poesía y, una vez adulta, tuve un parón de muchos años por dedicación a la maternidad y falta de confianza en mí. Volví a las letras cuando mi tiempo me lo permitió y actualmente tengo publicadas tres novelas y un cuento infantil.
Lo Bueno y Malo de escribir. ¿Quién está ganando hoy en día? No hay nada malo en la escritura, todo es bueno. Sirve de catarsis, de auto reconocimiento y de liberación a una necesidad de contar algo. Lo malo está en las ambiciones no conseguidas o en las luchas internas con uno mismo a la hora de decidirse a hacer público lo escrito. Pero eso es la periferia que rodea a la escritura, no la esencia.
¿Cuántos libros has escrito? ¿Y dónde podemos encontrar tus libros? He publicado tres novelas, actualmente estoy enfrascada en la cuarta; un cuento infantil y tengo otro escrito que algún día verá la luz. El libro, como lo prefieres, electrónico o de tapa dura. ¿Cuál será el futuro? A mí me gusta tocar el papel, olerlo, señalar lo que más me ha gustado. Pero entiendo que el libro electrónico tiene más futuro porque es más cómodo y más barato.
Un deseo para el 2024. Mi deseo es no perder la ilusión ni las ganas de contar historias, seguir mejorando y que mis lectores, al cerrar el libro, se queden contentos con lo leído.
