UEM JAIPUR HONOURS DR JERNAIL S ANAND WITH DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY (HONORIS CAUSA) FOR HIS CONTRIBUTION TO WORLD LITERATURE AND POETRY
9th Convocation of the University of Engineering and Management, Jaipur.
Dr Jernail Singh Anand, President, International Academy of Ethics, and Chairman, Board of Directors, World Institute if Peace, Nigeria, was as Guest of Honour and also honoured with DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY (HONORIS CAUSA) FOR CONTRIBUTION TO WORLD LITERATURE AND POETRY.
DR Ajay Data, was also awarded the Doctor of Philosophy (Honoris Causa) for his work in AI. The Chief Guest at the Convocation was Sh Kapil Garg, IPS, forner DGP, Rajasthan.
In his thanksgiving speech, Dr Anand pointed out the role of literature in the life of man which has been peripherized, and it needs to be given more attention, because we spend 9 hours in the office, but before and after that, we are human beings and and it is literature only which talks about our humanities.
The Vice Chancellor Dr Biswajoy Chatterjee, Registrar Dr Pradeep Sharma, Dean Academic Dr Anirudh Mukherjee and Dr Mukesh Yadav all deserve appreciation for honouring great world poet and philosopher Dr Anand at the Convocation.
