In order to instil ethical consciousness among the growing up youngsters, the International Academy of Ethics has come up with a unique Ethical Alphabet. This alphabet is an improvement upon the alphabet which is taught in the schools. Dr. Jernail S. Anand, President of the International Academy of Ethics, says that the times were good when we taught E for Elephant. Now, the times have worsened and the moral fibre of the society has dwindled. We have to fight the moral rot and for this, the new ETHICAL ALPHABET can inspire a moralistic attitude among the young students and lead to ethical consciousness among them. Dr. Anand said that the increasing crime rate is the result of the moral vacuum that exists in the early stages of schooling. As these are times of parentlessness, and there is absolute absence of grandparents from the scene, the Academy visualises its ETHICAL ALPHABET to fill the gap.
Dr. Maja Herman Sekulic, Vice-President, from Serbia, also feels that we must start with the younger lot to make a difference to the world society in times to come.
