As we all know there are many literary communities and forums virtual as well as off line, which provide writers a platform to showcase their writing skills and develop them.

Poesy Tales is one such writing community which brings together writers from not only Mumbai, but also PAN India and overseas.

This group was formed in the year 2020 by the founder Anupama Kadwad, when we were facing unprecedented times due to the pandemic.

The forum which started with a handful of writers is now a community of more than 200 writers and is still increasing.

The founder says that they have writers from all age groups right from 16 years till 86 years of age.

Proud to mention that Bankers, professors, oncologist, cardiac surgeon, home makers, It professionals,engineers MNC executive, students, retired professionals are a part of Poesy Tales family.

English, Hindi, Marathi

What makes this community unique?

1. Fortnightly prompt segments conducted

using words/ proverbs elicited from the members. These entries are later collated into beautiful ezines interspersed with artwork/drawings of members.

2. Monthly live open mic in all 3 languages English, Hindi and Marathi

3. Conducted Audio events in which participants sent their audio recordings which were later merged and shared

4. One of its kind Post card event was conducted where participants sent their short writings to be written in a post card. These post cards were mailed to their residence address.

Many members applauded this unique initiative.

5. To commemorate important days we request 4 line message from the members. These are later curated into a template with their photograph.

6. We conducted Secret Santa book exchange event, where one of the writers book was couriered to another writer randomly by the founder.
