BIOGRAPHY: The author’s name is Danijela Ćuk, she was born on 25.05.1989 in Vukovar and lives in Čavle (Croatia). She writes poetry and prose, has published three independent collections so far and participated in about 30 joint collections of poetry. Her poetry has been published in international magazines and portals and has been awarded numerous diplomas and awards. All proceeds from the author’s collections sold went to humanitarian causes. In addition to writing, Danijela also volunteers.
LUCIJA
My little angel,
you have been through everything,
you have conquered the invincible,
you are mom’s fighter, mom’s lioness,
and when you grow up you will remain a queen.
You are the sun of my life,
the light of my soul,
you are an angel because only angels like you exist,
I love you to the sky and even more,
my heart only breathes for you.
Lucija, that is your name,
just like the light of this world,
your strength is my strength too,
your life is the scent of the most beautiful flower.
A mother’s love is irreplaceable,
it is unique and you should know that,
and when life is at its most difficult,
your mom is here and will give you her heart.
