CLIMATE CHANGE

Despite improvements in the quality of life in the world’s population.

Fluctuations in global temperature and weather conditions are transforming ecosystems.

Our planet struggles to keep up with the increased demand for natural resources.

Climate change affects all of us and we must bear the consequences.

Humankind keeps cutting down and burning tropical rainforests.

This is done for the construction of buildings and agricultural purposes.

Deforestation impacts the global climate, as forests cool the earth’s surface.

Tropical rainforests are necessary to prevent global warming.

Burning fossil fuels for electricity, and heat, in industry and transportation;

Deforestation, overuse of chemical fertilizers; and industrial animal production,

All increase the concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere,

Climate change is directly linked to these emissions generated by humans.

We must first understand climate change before we can control it.

Climate is not the same as weather but they are both related.

Climate determines temperatures and meteorological phenomena.

Due to this, we are facing weather extremes and natural disasters.

STOP THE FLOW OF PLASTIC WASTE

We must teach our children the dangers of plastic on the planet.

The beaches are littered with plastic because of careless handling.

It is time to change how we produce, consume, and dispose of garbage.

Avoid severe environmental, social, economic, and health consequences.

Around the world, one million plastic bottles are purchased every minute.

Up to five trillion plastic bags are used worldwide every year.

Half of all plastic produced is used just once and discarded.

Plastics including microplastics are now everywhere in our environment.

From the 1950s to the 1970s, only a small amount of plastic was produced.

Plastic waste was relatively manageable but production has now more than tripled.

The world produces about 400 million tonnes of plastic waste every year.

36 percent of all plastics are used in packaging, and 85 percent end up in landfills.

Water bottles, dispensing containers, biscuit trays, shampoo bottles, milk bottles,

Freezer bags, food packaging film, Potato chip bags, microwave dishes, plastic cups,

Ice cream tubs, bottle caps, single-use face masks, cutlery, plates, and cigarette butts.

Systemic change is needed to stop the flow of plastic waste in the environment.

EMBRACING LOVE

Humans are sensitive and need to be cared for.

They all wish to be loved and adored.

Some search for love in every wrong place.

Bad childhood memories cannot be erased.

Regardless of what happened in early childhood,

Love and respect yourself and believe you are good.

Do your best and get rid of all negativity.

Project a positive image and continue life’s journey.

I believe love can cross every boundary.

Love is not only between a couple in matrimony.

The greatest love of all is love for humanity.

Selflessness can cure hopelessness for many.

Do unto others as you’d have them do unto you.

If you dig a ditch for others, you’ll fall into it too.

Judge not, for you know not what others are going through.

Listen, support, and encourage them in whatever they do.

Embrace love; let it begin in each heart.

A lack of love should not tear people apart.

When we love and respect others with no exception,

We become worthy of receiving love and affection.
