Dr. Sandra Maldonado Baur de Rivero Borrell, has 70 years of experience, practice and dedication, dedicated to carrying out the wonderful work of being a Teacher, with a great commitment to Education, Human Rights and the sustainability of the Planet, contributing with empathy. and values to a fairer society by strengthening the values and thought structures from early childhood.
A tireless fighter, she belonged to the SEP Public Education System directed by Brother Jaime Torres Bodet, Secretary of Public Education, who trained great educators for Mexico and his thoughts and actions inspired the Carlos Baur College Foundation in 1970. where he designed the BAUR SYSTEM that has revolutionized Education in Latin America to LIVE KNOWLEDGE, STIMULATING NEURAL CIRCUITS, EMOTIONS, CREATIVITY, MEMORY OF ALL LEARNING TO PROVIDE EMOTIONAL STABILITY, THOUGHT CAPACITY AND PROVIDE CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE WITH GREAT STRENGTH IN THEIR ACTIONS.
In the year 1922, his Mother Carolina Baur conceived the concept of THE SCHOOL IN ACTION and the Rights of the Mexican Child, she committed herself with great responsibility and ethics to touch the soul and thoughts of her students, involving their existence in the beauty of the universe.
Dr. Sandra Maldonado Baur de Rivero Borrell, is one of the 50 Memorable Latina Women confirmed for this great meeting of the most powerful women in transformation action on the American continent and has also been selected to receive the Only Annual Sor Juana Inés de the Academic Cross 2023 that was dictated in the Alliance of Global Leaders.
Art is the deepest aesthetic expression of humanity, which touches the soul and emotions, which are intertwined with movement, time-space, opening a path of light that illuminates our lives. It is the ability to change pain into joy, it is to observe what surrounds us, it is knowledge, reflection and understanding; in order to achieve through actions, that our mission of life and peace is fulfilled. Mexico needs women and men who love their country, who are aware of its enormous wealth and biodiversity. This abundance of natural resources should be enough to end poverty and inequality. With the responsible Education and Preparation of each one of us, we will be able to distribute well-being for all Mexicans in equity. Ignoring the greatness of Mexico, what we have been, what we are and the possibility of what we can be, must be reversed to achieve a better Mexico.
Educating ourselves to live in Peace is an obligation and a call to study with values, principles in the defense of Human Rights and the Conservation of the planet. United we can change our country. I invite all educators to commit themselves before the banner of Peace, to continue educating Mexicans in awareness that our homeland needs. We have an ancient and cosmological culture that supports us, gives us direction, order and harmony. Let us remember the ideals and desires of Nezahualcóyotl, Morelos, Juárez and Zapata, which remain alive and give us certainty and direction. Let’s take up their example of life, they are great heroes who gave themselves up with courage to safeguard a country full of hope. My wish is that peace prevail on earth.
