DOOMED CITIZENS
Everywhere, a mess
You can do nothing, wait and see
The time is changing and you
are not. Exertion less valued.
The numbness does not halt
Favored, you have a chance
Shift, otherwise you are puppet
of the show. None hears you,
Citizens, your fate is cursed
As Oedipus, the king, destined for
Your own bizarre until and unless
You understand your circumstances.
